Kevin Bludso is a third-generation pit master who learnt the skill of classic Texan barbecue in his family's hometown of Corsicana, Texas, where they've been barbecuing for over a century. In 2008, he opened Bludso's BBQ in Compton, just outside of L.A., and based on its success, opened a second in West Hollywood. They are now renowned as America's favourites.
The Compton restaurant was awarded the No. 1 spot in the "Top BBQ List in America" by The New York Times, Fox News, CNN and Time Out, as well as the "Best BBQ in LA" by LA Times, LA Weekly and Huffington Post.
Kevin gained his smokin' skills at nine years old. He'd spend each summer in Corsicana with his Granny, learning how to smoke brisket and ribs using techniques passed down by Kevin's great, great Grandfather.
Now the unique Bludso flavours have arrived at San Antone by Bludso's BBQ - exclusive to Crown Melbourne.
